The animation shows a spaceship uniformly accelerated away from Earth at 1g. This situation is known as Rindler Space. The ship's reference axes appear to Earth to close up towards 45 degrees as it accelerates.
As predicted by Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, after 4 years Earth time, the spaceship has reached 97% of the speed of light, and the spaceship occupants appear to have aged only 2.1 years. The details of this relativistic calculation appear in the following document, written by me.
